Our training events will help you understand and build swarmish “micro-missions”: pioneer teams that can reach the unreached (or mobilize others). Swarms are not: crowds, mobs, or networks. Swarms are: highly decentralized, visionary, intimate, self-organizing, transformational, adaptive, open, rapidly-multiplying groups!

Introduction to Swarming

• 2 hours long.
• highly interactive and visual.
• welcomes any and all questions.
• open to anyone – you do not need to be a ministry leader or active missionary to attend.

By the end of the seminar:

• you will have a basic understanding of what swarming is.
• you will know the seven marks of a swarm: Vision, Strong Bonds, Self-Organization, Transformation, Adaptability, Openness & Generosity, and Multiplication
• you will have heard about the trends that have given rise to it.
• you will know if it’s something you want to pursue further.
• you will be able to describe swarming to others.
• you will be able to decide whether to attend the longer Swarm School.

Specialty Workshops

• Vision Workshop. We will focus specifically on the Vision aspect of a swarm, and particularly on how to write a plausible promise. 1 hour presentation, 1 hour in-depth work with sharing & participation by group. If you would like to attend one, email us: we schedule these as we have enough people to attend.

• 8 hours long: 4 hours per day over 2 days
• Cover every aspect of swarming in significant depth
