Uighurs: China demanded the US return 17 Chinese Muslims (Uighurs) held at Guantanamo Bay. The US refused, sending them to the Caribbean instead.

Pashto: WSJ: Refugee Crisis Inflames Ethnic Strife. An influx of Pashtun war refugees from northwest Pakistan into Karachi has inflamed ethnic rivalries.

Turkey: Yürüks struggle to keep traditions. The Taurus Mountains are home to the oldest Turkish lifestyle. Yürüks have never given up their nomadic culture and have carried it through the centuries. Today, however, the Yürük lifestyle is eroding away and appears destined to die, only to remain in books and museums.
